Abdías MéndezRobles, an artist with a considerable college formation in the arts and other areas knowledge. He holds a Bachelors Degrees (BA) in Fine Arts, specializing in Painting (Magna cum laude) and other in Science (BS), specializing in Finance and Economics; a Master Degree in Art (MA) and other Master Degree in Business Administration (MBA); as well as a Doctoral Degree in Naturopathy (ND). Constantly traveling, his visits to museums in Europe and the United States have further enhanced his education and steadily developed and upgraded his sensibility through reflective observation and admiration of the masterpieces of the great artists.

MéndezRobles works have had extensive exposure, in the United States, Europe, Latin America and Asia; where he has participated in numerous single and collective exhibits. Some of them are: In United States in McIninch Art Gallery in Southern New Hampshire University, the Gallery of The Abud Family Foundation for Art, ArtExpo New York and ArtExpo Las Vegas Fair, and at the Museum of the Americas - Doral, Florida. In Europe his works have been in exhibition in Sweden Svenska Konstgalleriet,  at the International Art Fair in Holland, Crisolart Gallery in Barcelona, in the arts pavilion at the prestigious Frankfurt Book Fair in Germany, FYR Gallery in Florence, at the International Print Annual in Bulgaria,  Lisboa in Actual Gallery, and Paris the Carrusel du Louvre. In Latin America FIART fair in Dominican Republic, Brasil the Brasilian Group, Puerto Rico in Convento de los Dominicos Gallery at Instituto de Cultura Puertorriqueña, Coabey Gallery and Calle Cristo Gallery in San Juan, Duey Gallery, Caribbean University Art Museum (MACU). And Asia, also participated at International Art Fair in Shanghai, China.

A widely acclaimed artist, he has received numerous recognitions including the Performance Medal for Industrial Drawing; a Mention of Honor at the Salón Arte Joven (Young Artists Circle) from the Royal Bank of Canada; Honored by Escuela de Artes Plásticas (School of Fine Arts) and member of The National Dean?s List; he has also received the recognition of the UNESCO-PR Committee; awarded a Mention of Honor at the International Arts Critic Association (IACA) annual recognitions; Mention of Honor by American Museum at Hispanic Heritage Contest;  Mention of Honor of Svenska Konstgalleriet in Sweden; Through its Resolution No. 1383, signed on March 27,1998, the Senate of Puerto Rico congratulated and recognized MéndezRobles as a distinguish exponent of the Fine Arts.

Prestigious art critics and commentators the likes of José A. Pérez Ruiz, Haydee Venegas,  Abil Peralta, Antonio Molina, Beatriz Santiago Ibarra, have continuously filed favorable critiques and made laudatory art critics of his work.

Méndez Robles is included in 100 Contemporary International Artists and in the International Artists Yearbook 2006, published in Barcelona, Spain by the European Communities Artists Library and presented at the Frankfurt International Book Fair in October 2006. His works has been reviewed in multiple occasions; in art magazines like; ArtEs Magazine; LatinAmerican Art Magazine; in newspaper like: El Vocero de Puerto Rico, El Nuevo Día, [-] Princenton?s Business Newspaper; interviews in television and radio; digital media like: Hoy.com, miradaalarte.com, y universia.pr among others.
